
A few years ago, I was heavier, softer, and training without a clear system.
My body fat was around 28%.
I lifted. I worked hard.
But effort without structure only gets you so far.
Instead of chasing extremes, I rebuilt my approach:
Consistent barbell training
Volume I could recover from
Nutrition that supported training
Patience instead of punishment
Today, I weigh about the same, but my body fat is closer to 18%.
That means:
More muscle
Less fat
Better movement
Better energy
Strength I can actually maintain
This didn’t come from hacks or intensity for intensity’s sake.
It came from doing the right things, long enough.
That’s the exact system behind the Iron Covenant — and it’s what I coach.
